Decorating the Tree w/ Kenzie
When I got back to my apartment from Thanksgiving Break I was surprised to see a Christmas tree box in the living room. My roommate Kenzie had brought it from home so that we could decorate for Christmas. When I mentioned getting a tree for our apartment I was thinking of a 3-foot tree on the counter but, Kenzie brought a 6-foot tree! We decided to decorate the tree that night so that we could enjoy it for as long as possible before we left campus again for Christmas break. As we decorated the tree we talked about what we did on break and what finals we were dreading. Kenzie is a nursing major so we have very different schedules and don't get to hang out often so it was nice to catch up with her. After the tree was decorated we plugged it in and only half of the lights worked. We then went to Dollar General to get lights but they didn't have the same color lights so we got multi-color.
